How strong is the encryption?
Files are encrypted with standard PDF encryption supported by all major PDF readers. The protection is only as strong as your password, so choose a long, unique one.
Is it safe to type my password here?
Yes. The password is used only inside your browser to encrypt the file locally — it is never sent over the network or stored.
Can I remove a password I've forgotten?
No. If you forget the password there is no backdoor — keep it somewhere safe, such as a password manager.
