Terms of Use
Last updated: 9 July 2026
1. Acceptance
By using PunchPDF (punchpdf.com, the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
PunchPDF provides browser-based PDF utilities (merge, split, compress, organize, watermark, page numbering, conversion and protection). All processing happens locally in your browser; your files are not uploaded to us.
3. Free use — personal and commercial
The Service is free of charge for both personal and commercial use. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
4. Your responsibilities
- You must have the legal right to process the documents you use with the Service.
- You are responsible for keeping backups of your original files and for verifying the output before relying on it.
- You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or misuse the Service.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. While we work hard to make the tools accurate and reliable, we do not guarantee that output files will be error-free for every input.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PunchPDF and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Because your files are processed on your own device and never transmitted to us, you retain full control of — and responsibility for — your documents at all times.
7. Intellectual property
The PunchPDF name, logo and site design are the property of the Service operator. The Service is built on open-source libraries, each governed by its own license. Your documents remain entirely yours.
8. Advertising
The Service is supported by third-party advertising (Google AdSense). Advertisers are responsible for the content of their ads; a link's presence is not our endorsement.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
